The 2019 WV STEM & the Arts Student Film Competition —— Now Open for Submission!

We are happy to announce an exciting opportunity available to all West Virginia college and high school students (9-12).  The 2019 West Virginia STEM & the Arts Student Film Competition is now open for submissions! The Film Competition is sponsored by Marshall University’s College of Arts and Media and organized by the Video Production Program in partnership with WV AllSTAR and the Green Bank Observatory. The call is for “short” films (maximum of 5 minutes) and guidelines for participating can be found here.  From the website – “Submitted films should creatively engage STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and/or the Arts (e.g. performance, dance, theater, music, painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.) related themes, ideas, characters, and stories. Films may be animation, fictional narratives, documentary, experimental or other.
